Immortal

A bold project to do something that has never been attempted.

Our goal is to create an audio archive distributed as an electronic medium and preserved as a PHYSICAL, DECENTRALIZED collection in households, libraries, schools and institutions. The end goal is that these precious records are stored away in thousands of copies so that we are certain that each recording survives somewhere long, long into the future.

Underlying assets are printable mediums that can be stashed in a safe deposit box, scrapbook or family album, displayed on the wall (physically and meta-physically) and generally kept in safe-keeping until the time all previous recording versions are obsolete.

Our First History Edition: Open July 20, 2022 on the 53rd anniversary of man landing on the moon.

Man's first step on the moon on July 20th, 1969, and Will Rogers in his address to the Wall Street Bankers Conference circa 1922.

Certificate style collection:  Three Versions Minted as Limited Editions, each with subsets of varied traits.

Availability:  Limited edition of 200 NFTs are being allowed to mint.  Select buyers will earn physical museum prints of the original artwork and sound certificate.  All verified owners may also purchase physical prints at a 40% discount in the shop.  Framed prints are 30% off to verified owners of at least one NFT.

An audio time-capsule that handled with care, will be opened centuries from today.

If the ancients could have talked to us, what would they have said?  If you could talk to people living in the year 2150 what would you have to say?

The visual means of communication is the longest surviving medium of mankind, with stone carvings and drawings to ink-stained papyrus and paper; We have record of communication dating back thousands of years.  Oh, if those cave walls, stone tablets and pages could Talk!  History for generations to come remains silent until now!

Our work of preserving sound as a Universal Visual Medium will bring "life" to these pieces in 10 years, 100 years and well beyond, regardless of the technologies that societies are using at the time.  All of the data necessary to play the recorded sound is included in this collection. Print them.  Store them. Odds are high that you’ll be holding the only surviving recorded sound in existence from our period, 150 or more years from now.

Will digital files, films, records, CDs and cassettes be preserved and useful at that time?  I can read, scan and record information from 200-year-old paper as if it were printed yesterday.  We’re giving sound one more way to survive, using the oldest and most durable medium known to man.

Roadmap

To succeed We Need You!

Your role: Participate in community. Talk, buy, print, sell, trade… and pass it on!

Categories/Editions

History - Preservation of some of the most interesting moments in (audio) recorded history.

Music and Screen - Contributions of music and iconic performances absolutely destined for “timeless” classification.

Culture - Past and present-day icons share their message to our people of the future.

Inspired by the works of Edouard-Leon Scott de Martinville, Alexander Graham Bell and all other pioneers of recorded audio we're working to create the most durable recorded sound medium.

Combined with art, our mission is to create, distribute and curate collections that represent visual and audio pieces for others to enjoy in decades and perhaps centuries to come.

Carefully handcrafted and digitally optimized art and recordings are offered not only as an NFT, but as a physical collection.  These physical collections are professionally developed as "Museum Pieces" created to the highest standard with certified archival paper and inks, and framed versions encased in hardwood frames behind ultra-clear and UV-blocking museum glass.

Our plan is to distribute copies of prints and framed versions to libraries, schools and other institutions for display and care, and thus providing our owners with identical and limited edition copies of the exact pieces on display in prominent locations throughout the world.
